Caleb Sigmond, a 12-year-old student at OCEAN, a local alternative public school, and a longtime participant at CedarRoot Folk School, is bringing his creativity and love for nature to the upcoming arts and crafts fair. Drawing inspiration from the northwest landscape, Caleb is crafting beautiful, nature-inspired wreaths that showcase his deep appreciation for the outdoors to attend a Wilderness First Aid class.
From gathering materials in the forest, to arranging each piece by hand, Caleb’s wreaths reflect his passion for spending time outside and his dedication to sharing the beauty of nature with others.
His wreath making is supported by his parents, MB & Peter, who hold a deep belief that kids are incredibly capable when given the chance. They see the middle school years as an important time for youth to be involved in projects bigger than they are and in connection with the community.
